| 30th December | Congratulations to Mags Mewkes, Spectrum (Guernsey ) for obtaining a CPAGB for slide work and also to Steven Le Provost FRPS, BPE2* Prism (Guernsey) for obtaining a MPAGB for prints. The MPAGB is the highest award for photographic merit available from the PAGB and there are only around 100 who have acheived this level since it was introduced. Steven is now one of a very elite band of photographers. |

The next adjudication will be held in Wales in April next and the closing date for entries is the end of February. The November adjudications were oversubscribed and those that were not successful in obtaining a slot have been included in this next event. So, if you intend applying, especially for the C and D grades in prints, I would recommend you submit your application without delay. There will be very few spaces free. Full details are available, on receipt of an A5 or larger, stamped addressed envelope, from Leo Rich ARPS, EFIAP, DPAGB, APAGB 81, Hilltop Way, Castle Hill, Salisbury, SP1 3QQ. The SPF modified their criteria for eligibility to enter - your Club Secretary will have full details in the latest Handbook. |

| 10th December | Chichester Camera Club announce their Advanced Workers Photographic Exhibition will take place at North Mundham Village Hall, Chichester on Saturday 20th January 2007. The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm and there will be an entry fee of just 50p. Refreshments, including light lunches, will be available all day. During this exhibition they plan to exhibit more than 500 images. This event has proved an inspirational and enjoyable social occasion over the past few years, with many old friends travelling considerable distances to be there.
