The closing date for the Public Liability Premium payment is the 14th Jan 2008. A £5 levy has been introduced for payments made after this date. |
| 27th February | Subscriptions
The closing date for subscriptions before the £5 levy would become liable is the 30th September 2007. Clubs not having paid by 31st Dec 2007, will be deemed to no longer be members of the SPF. The membership shall be calculated at the last day of the clubs financial year prior to the SPF AGM in May when subscriptions become due. See para 6 of the SPF Constitution for the full description. |

| 22nd February | We have now surpassed
last years entry for the online competition, but are still looking for more entries. Have
you entered yet? I am sure that you will agree that there
are some wonderful images again this year, but I know that
you have probably got someof very similar quality, why not
expose them to the rest of the membership. I hope that you
agree that the layout is better this year with the newer
entries appearing at the top of the page. By clicking on
the thumbnail image, a larger version will open out and
will give the image number and title. After the competition
has been judged, this will show the author, their club and
a few words about the image. |

| 13th February | In respect for the family of Bob Elliott, would Members of the Southern Photographic Federation Clubs and Members of other organisations please refrain from contacting his widow for bookings. It is most upsetting for her and the family, especially as it is only a short while since his unexpected death. Could all Club Members be sure that this message gets filtered through. |

| 1st February | Into month two of the online competition, with only two entries so far!. Where is your entry? You must have something that you want considered. All images should be a maximum of 500 pixels on the longest side and at 72 dpi if in digital format and should be sent to the Webmaster. Enprints for scanning should also be sent to the Webmaster at 123 Aylen Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, Hants, PO3 5HE. |
