| 24th January 2008 | Leo Rich ARPS EFIAP DPAGB APAGB There seems to be a misunderstanding amongst the SPF and Federations Nationally that Leo Rich, due to his health is unable to judge or lecture. He has asked me to let everyone know that this is not the case - Leo is as healthy as the rest of us at his age (21 again). Due to his commitments, and the demands that they take on his time, as Secretary to the PAGB Awards and Chairrmanship of the PAGB Patronage Committee, he is unable to judge internal club competitions, however he is still willing to judge inter-club events. The Salon is open to all photographers and this year will comprise four classes, General & Nature slides and Open & Nature digital. The closing date is 5th April with the judging on 19/20th April. | 5th January 2008 | A very big surprise also took place last night at the opening of the Exhibition when Jack Whitemore presented Ian Bigg, SPF President with his Roll of Honour Certificate. Ian said "I was most surprised and at the same time couldnt believe it, but am delighted that the council saw fit to make this decision and it is an honour which I will endeavour to live up to, hopefully for many more years to come." | 4th January 2008 | Winchester Photographic Society announce their 75th Annual Exhibition to be held in the City Space in the Winchester Discovery Centre on Jewry Street.
