As a member of the PAGB, the Federation is able to facilitate the provision of Public Liability Insurance.

A policy providing public liability cover to member clubs, and each club member, against liability in law for damages and claimants costs and expenses in respect of:-

Accidental injury to any person. Accidental damage to property.

The policy is endorsed to note the following two extensions:-
Member to Member Liability.
Members engaged in group or individual club activity.

This policy will give cover from:-
1st FEBRUARY of one year to the 31st JANUARY of the next.

States that all clubs/societies who take cover under the PAGB Public Liability Insurance (Policy No: SQ02037939) should note that in the event of a requirement to sign any undertaking in respect of various places, a copy of that undertaking should be forwarded for approval by the insurers prior to signing: this is necessary to ensure full protection.

Please Note:- Clubs must be fully paid up members of the federation to qualify for this cover.
All member clubs must ensure that they have adequate public liability insurance.
If not taking out the above insurance, then details of the alternative insurance cover must be sent to the Treasurer.
Any club not complying with the above will be marked in the handbook - INSURANCE NOT CONFIRMED.

Judges and lecturers that are invited to visit such clubs are advised to satisfy themselves that they are willing to take the risk of visiting a club without cover.

Participating clubs must send a copy of their Programme or a Listing of events taking place during the period of cover to the Treasurer.

Please note that Special Events that involve large numbers of non-members may require separate cover.
