Southampton Camera Club are staging annual memorial lectures, to celebrate the lives of Jim Mansfield  ARPS  & Bob Elliott,  FRPS EFIAP.  Two past presidents who jointly served the club for some 70 years.

Jim & Bob were 100% dedicated to promoting photography and were ever willing to give advice and help to others.  Needless to say they are greatly missed.

The first of these lectures is a WILDLIFE SPECTACULAR BY ANDY ROUSE.

Andy will also have a trade stand with his latest books and photography supplies.
There are two side galleries where there will be displays of Jim & Bob’s prints.
The first event is to be held 2.30 pm on Sunday 18th May 2008 at Thornden Hall, Chandlers Ford, Hants. SO53 2DW.
The event is being sponsored by R F GIDDINGS & Co Ltd.

Thornden Hall is a superb orchestral gallery with ramped seating for 360 people. The venue is suitable for those with disabilities, and has ample car parking.   Light refreshments will be available.

The hall is very accessible from the M3.   EXIT the M3 Junction 12.  follow the signs for Chandlers Ford.  After 400 metres pass the hospital entrance, Thornden School is on the left.  Once on the school site follow the signs to the hall.  Parking is at the front of the hall on the tennis courts.
