We had a very successful opening evening to the Exhibition. Peter and his wife Carol had travelled from Burton-on-Trent and Peter officially opened the exhibition. Both the Southern Federation and the Gallery really appreciated this.

The opening evening was attended by 70 people, this included some local Councillors, as well as people from camera clubs throughout the Southern Fed region. There were many complimentary comments made about the gallery space as well as the exhibition itself.

I would very much like to thank Hampshire County Council, Gosport Borough Council, Gosport Gallery, all our other sponsors and so many helpers for their kind support.

I hope that many of you will visit this exhibition as it is not often we get the opportunity to see such a superb exhibition in our area.
